About Jamie

Jamie Ball is a British author whose writing journey began on a tropical island in Thailand, where—fueled by his own body weight in tea and coffee—he sketched out the outline for his debut novel, Escaping Black Mill, in just one week. Finishing the book, however, took another four years, thanks in no small part to the demands of his career as an international educator.

Jamie currently works as a special education teacher and fits in his writing between lessons, meetings, and cups of coffee. Though based in Thailand, he has also lived in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.

He has several new books on the way, each brimming with mystery, adventure, and pulse-raising thrills, perfect for fans of compelling, character-driven storytelling.
Stay tuned for updates, and thank you for reading!

Warm regards,
Jamie 😊
